Jean Caze will perform as part of the monthly Jazz at MOCA series. In 2006, the Haitian-born trumpeter released his first album, Miami Jazz Scene. Most recently, the Haitian-born trumpeter won second place in the 2007 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition. Though his roots are solidly planted in jazz, Caze can flawlessly switch between genres.
