The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) North Miami presents Oriente as part of the free monthly Jazz at MOCA series. Formed by Cuban-born guitarist and composer Eddy Balzola, Orienteis known for their signature sound featuring funky, guitar driven tumbaos, blazing harmonic brass, and explosive Afro-Latin percussion fusing Cuban roots with Blues, Jazz, Caribbean and Brazilian influences. They debuted at New Orleans world famous Snug Harbor Jazz Club attracting local musicians and guests to their new Cuban roots fusion. The museum galleries will be open by donation from 7 – 10 p.m.
