Jazz at MOCA: Shareef ClaytonConcerts & Performances
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), North Miami will celebrate Black History Month with Shareef Clayton as part of the monthly Jazz at MOCA series. Clayton, a jazz trumpeter, is a native of Miami. In 2012, Clayton recorded the album “Multiverse” with the Bobby Sanabria Big Band which was nominated for a Grammy. Clayton performs regularly with Macy Gray, Melody Gardot, Bobby Sanabria and the Duke Ellington Orchestra. The public is invited to sit under the stars and enjoy the jazz tunes from Shareef Clayton. Admission is free. The museum galleries will be open by donation from 7 – 10 p.m.
