Arguably the most notorious article of Jewish clothing in history, the yellow star is widely acknowledged for its significant role in the Holocaust. But what are its origins? What were the experiences of those forced to wear it? Join Professor Stier on a far-ranging exploration of this infamous scrap of cloth. “A Brief History of the Yellow Star” is part of FIU’s Holocaust and Genocide Awareness Week.
