Lost Spaces and Stories of Vizcaya Opening Night
Art Exhibitions
Celebrate the opening of Lost Spaces and Stories of Vizcaya with a reception and first viewing of Phase I of this year-long contemporary art exhibition that commemorates the estate’s centennial by exploring its history, original design intent, and daily life at Vizcaya in the early years. This exhibit explores forgotten spaces that have been lost to the estate throughout the years through the eyes of local contemporary artists. It also grants the public access to some never-before-explored spaces, like Vizcaya Museum and Gardens moat, which originally served as a road and is once again being reimagined in this way through the exhibit. The Kickoff event admission is $16.82. Following the kickoff, the exhibit will be open to the public and free with museum admission.
