Miami Convening on Human TraffickingClasses, Workshops & Lectures
The International Human Trafficking Institute (IHTI), a program of The National Center for Civil and Human Rights, Inc., and The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade County will invite students and youth activists to Miami, for a convening which will focus on the major regional contributors to human trafficking, agriculture and tourism, and teach participants how to plan, strategize and ignite an activism movement. The event will also include the stories of a labor trafficking and sex trafficking survivor. There will be a complimentary breakfast and lunch offered to the student participants/attendees. The CNN Freedom Project will be filming the event for an upcoming feature story. Attendance is complimentary but RSVP is required.
