MOCA will screen the documentary Black Power Mixtape (2011). This documentary film examines the evolution of the Black Power movement in American society from 1967-1975 as viewed through Swedish journalists & filmmakers. Narrated by Phylicia Rashad, this documentary features an engaging history of AFRICOBRA, exploring the group’s activities beginning with its founding in the turbulent 1960s.
