A Tribute Dhrupad Concert in memory of Vidushi Manju N. Mehta, a renowned sitar player, co-founder of one of India’s largest music festivals,“ Saptak”.
DHRUPAD is a meditative vocal tradition. Rooted in Vedic chants,
India’s oldest musical tradition.
Padmashri Umakant Gundecha, Anant Gundecha and Dhani Gundecha,
accompanied by Akhilesh Gundecha on ‘Pakhavaj’ percussion.
