Oskuneru is the historical fiction-retelling of the true story of the Surinamese Maroon Rebellion against the Dutch Colonials. It follows 3 African siblings living during the colonial era (c.1600-1800s) and their three distinct reactions in response to slavery. This is a Staged Reading of the Original Play that features live music and dance.
