“The Mattachine Family” (USA, 2023), a heartwarming comedy drama, will open this year’s OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival Fort Lauderdale, internationally acclaimed as one of the largest LGBTQ+ cultural festivals in the world, at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, at NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale (1 E Las Olas Blvd).
