YoungArts alumna Yara Travieso will premiere new work – El Cicln – in her hometown! Combining elements of theater, dance, cinema, and music, El Cicln is a wild neo-feminist mythology trapped inside a 1950s B-movie psychological thriller with singing, dancing, and just enough alligators created by director, filmmaker, and choreographer Yara Travieso (2005 YoungArts Winner in Dance). Transforming the YoungArts Plaza into a South Florida swamp, Travieso sets the stage for heroine Ava, who finds herself in a precarious situation facing an impossible moral decision. Doors open at 7.
