Christina and Michelle Naughton, piano duo. Get a close look at a multitude of fascinating instruments alongside our wildly entertaining Percussion Fellows. First up, composer and visual artist Tristan Perich celebrates crotales—a collection of tiny cymbal-like disks—with the cheerful ringing of Observations. Iannis Xenakis’ Skins isolates the drum family and its unique timbres to cast a rhythmic, hypnotic and primal spell. In a grand finale, modern percussion meets traditional keyboards in a broad exploration of sound, one which required Paul Lansky to “splash notes on paper, trying to fuse the two traditions together.” Linger after the concert for a special meet-and-greet with the performers. General admission $10.
