Peter London Global Dance Company (PLGDC) celebrates it’s 5th anniversary season with “Spring to Light”–a program that contains TWO WORLD PREMIERES: Rite of Spring (Stravinsky) and LIGHT (Rachmaninoff). This promises to be a powerful transitional and transformational performance heralding 2017 with bold change. Rite of Spring features Igor Stravinsky’s “Le Sacre du Printemps” and LIGHT features Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Concerto #2 in C Minor, Opus 18. Amanda Keeley of EXILE BOOKS fame provides the digital light design with choreography and performances by some of Miami’s gifted choreographers and international dance stars: Justin Rapaport from Ballet BC, Vancouver, Canada; Leon Cobb with Jose Limon Dance Company, New York City; Jacqueline Bulnes, alumni star with Martha Graham Dance Company, New York City and PLGDC principal dancer, Sasha Caicedo. Tickets are $40.
