Concerts & PerformancesIn the 1960s, artist Jean Cocteau spent several years in Marbella, enjoying its climate, its beaches and its hectic social life. Piedras preciosas (Precious Stones) imagines the relationship between Cocteau and Manuel, a young flamenco dancer, showing their mutual learning and the special affection they professed to one another. The play comes from Marbella, Spain and is performed in Spanish. “Piedras preciosas” is written by Pablo Díaz. Directed by Andrea Chacón Álvarez and Raul Mancilla. Part of the 32nd International Hispanic Theatre Festival of Miami. Friday and Saturday at 8:30 p.m.; Sunday at 5 p.m. Tickets: Adults, $33; seniors, students, and guests with disabilities, $28.
