Your evening starts in the garden as the light fades through the tree canopy. Taste your way through 12 California wines curated by Marchelle Wines and savor bites with each pour. Then stroll over to the iconic Banyan Bowl, where Hazmat Modine takes the stage for a Sound Session. The New York band draws on influences from the Mississippi Delta to the Mediterranean, and every place in between, takes the stage. Driven by harmonicas, tuba, horns, banjo and drums, with Wade Schuman’s voice at the center, the sound is dense and joyful and completely its own. By the end of the first song, you’ll understand why they’ve played in more than 40 countries.
