Three performances of The Pirates of Penzance will play at Pinecrest Gardens over the weekend. This fresh take on one of Gilbert and Sullivan’s most popular comic operas is a hilarious farce of sentimental pirates, bumbling policemen, dim-witted young lovers and an eccentric Major-General. Set sail with this classic comedy that boasts one of the most famous patter songs in musical theater history. Performances are Friday at Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 7:30. Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors and $20 for students with a valid student ID.
