The keynote speech will be delivered by long-time Women’s Fund supporter, Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, who will delve into her inspiring testimony as a leader and on making history after being recently sworn in as the first Madam Mayor of Miami-Dade County. She will followed by remarks from changemakers including Academy Award-Winner Jane Fonda, reggae royalty Cedella Marley, award-winning playwright V (Formerly Eve Ensler) and surrealist blues poet and storyteller Aja Monet.
For almost three decades, The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade has worked to improve the lives of women and girls by providing almost $4 million of funding to support almost 500 programs serving over 75,000 women and girls throughout Miami-Dade County. The organization focuses on creating change for women and girls through action, advocacy, and investing in key collaborative initiatives that generate sustainable impact in four pillars of economic mobility, leadership, health & well-being, and freedom from violence.
