Recent high school graduates Carrie and Molly, who are complete opposites and never hung out together at school, form a fragile relationship while working at a local farm stand. Molly convinces Carrie to join her on an unexpected road trip in her brand new car—a gift with strings attached. Carrie brings along her eleven-year-old sister, Sam, who ends up creating a bridge the older girls.
