Elysa D. Batista exhibits her Scopic Ciphers series at the Williams McCall Gallery in Coconut Grove. The opening reception is open to the public, and the exhibit will run until January 31. Scopic Ciphers is a collection of Batista’s internalized repressed experiences with relation to race, gender, and culture.
