South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center kicks off its 2015-2016 performing arts season with a free outdoor concert Backyard Bash featuring the Big Band swing acts of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy from Southern California and the New Orleans-based Hot 8 Brass Band. Performances also include local bands Aaron Lebos Reality and DJ Le Spam. The event is FREE but tickets are required and can be obtained online at SMDCAC.org. Between the music explore the Center’s many performance spaces, meet the staff, look through our season schedule and secure seats for your favorite upcoming shows. Bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets. No coolers permitted. The concert is appropriate for all ages.
