TThe Bakehouse Art Complex, Inc. inaugurates its 2016/17 artistic season with the overall title “Exploring Other Ways of Making.” The shows and presentations will focus on how different cultural inputs and disciplines inform our idea of contemporary art today. The Audrey Love Gallery features “Strong Paintings: Works by Freda Coffing Tschumy” and the Swenson Gallery features “Monolith: The Abasi Rosborough Collection.” The Second Friday Opening Reception features open studios and refreshments. The exhibition runs through October 21.
