Florida Grand Opera’s Songfest of South Florida recital series presents Sounds of the Americas, a wide-ranging selection vocal works by Latino composers. “Sounds of the Americas” will be performed at Steinway Piano Gallery in Coral Gables on Saturday, March 4, at 7:30 p.m. and at the Leiser Center in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday, March 5 at 6 p.m. “Sounds of the Americas” provides a thematic tie-in to Jorge Martín’s powerful opera about Cubans in exile, “Before Night Falls,” which Florida Grand Opera will present March 18 through March 25 at the Adrienne Arsht Center.
