The annual Liszt Festival, sponsored by the South Florida chapter of the American Liszt Society at FIU, is dedicated to advancing knowledge about the great Hungarian pianist and composer Franz Liszt. Special commentary provided by “South Florida’s cultural maven” Frank Cooper. Featured artist-in-residence Kemal Gekic, Silvije Vidovic, and guest pianist William Wellborn will perform works by Liszt, Alkan, Mozart, and Beethoven. Tickets are $15.
