Tchaikovsky, Elgar and Barber Masterworks will launch South Florida Symphony Orchestra’s 25th anniversary season at The Parker in Fort Lauderdale. Led by Music Director Sebrina María Alfonso, SFSO will perform Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35, with soloist Askar Salimdjanov; Elgar’s Enigma, Variations on anOriginal Theme, Op. 36; and Barber’s First Essay for Orchestra, Op. 12.
