During National Hispanic Heritage Month, we celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions made by Hispanic and Latin Americans. The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) will celebrate by featuring the exhibit SYZYGY. The exhibit unites 10 Miami-based Hispanic women artists whose work explores themes of identity, sexuality, power and spirituality. Opening night reception features DJ MUSICAT. Performance by Charo Oquet: Secrets or Little Known Saints – From Boukman to Maria Sabina. Reading by Mia Leonin. Admission is $10. Free for MOCA members and NoMi residents.
