Inspired by real-life Chicken Ranch a brothel has been operating outside of fictional Gilbert, Texas for more than a century. Under the proprietorship of Mona, business is thriving. Mona takes care of her girls & is on good terms with the sheriff Ed Earl Dodd. When crusading TV reporter Melvin Thorpe decides to make the illegal activity an issue political ramifications cause the place to be close.
