The most significant fundraising

initiative in the history of Baptist Health is The Grand Gala with all proceeds going to support Miami Cancer Institute, the new destination cancer center. Recognized for its leading clinical care, exceptional patient experience, advanced clinical research and state-of-the-art technology – including the first proton therapy center in South Florida – Miami Cancer Institute offers ease of access to patients in the region and across Latin America and the Caribbean. The Institute opens in January 2017.

The Grand Gala is chaired by Karel Foti, Lourdes Jofre-Collett and Leonard Kalman, M.D. Together with a 17-member committee, they have created an exceptional evening for the expected 800 attendees to experience, including an elegant reception and dinner, silent auction featuring exquisite items

and rare travel experiences, and a performance by celebrated singer-songwriter and musician, Matt Goss, on the heels of a longtime weekly residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
