The Last Jimmy is a poignant stage play which explores mass incarceration and shines a light on the ills of the criminal justice system and the prison industrial complex. A hip-hop musical odyssey featuring song, live music and dance, this production follows the plight of the last Black man left to be imprisoned by a court and prison system stacked again young men of color. Last Jimmy was created by 5-time Grammy nominated rapper Dice Raw of The Roots, inspired by Dr. Michelle Alexanders book, The New Jim Crow. Performances on Friday at 11 a.m. & 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 4 p.m. & 7:30 pm. Tickets are $25.
