As we stand in solidarity with Israel at this critical time, the Greater Miami Jewish Federation is delighted to welcome Guest of Honor His Excellency Michael Herzog, Ambassador of Israel to the United States, for a special briefing at The Main Event. A former General in the Israel Defense Forces, Ambassador Herzog hails from an esteemed Israeli family renowned for its long lineage of public service that includes his father, Chaim Herzog, z”l, the sixth President of Israel, and his brother, Isaac Herzog, the current President of Israel.

Ambassador Herzog will be featured, along with keynote speaker His Excellency Reuven Rivlin, 10th President of the State of Israel, and Friend of Israel Humanitarian Award recipient Jacob Solomon, Federation President and CEO, who will be retiring in June after his illustrious 42-year career at Federation.

Chair of the Board Ariel Bentata and General Campaign Chair Lily Serviansky will co-chair the event. Guests will also be treated to a memorable musical performance by the Israel Defense Forces Special in Uniform Band.

Couvert is $136 per person, $90 for Jewish communal professionals and $54 for those age 30 and under, and includes a light buffet dinner and dessert reception. Click here to RSVP.

The Main Event is the Greater Miami Jewish Federation’s largest community gathering, raising funds for the Greater Miami Jewish Federation/UJA Campaign to help Jewish people in need in Miami, in Israel and in more than 70 other countries around the world.
