In celebration of its 10th Anniversary Season, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and the Phillip and Patricia Frost School of Music at the University of Miami will present a unique multimedia concert experience – From the Dark Knight to the Hunger Games – The Movie Music of James Newton Howard. As new artistic director of the Frost School of Music’s Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra, renowned Hollywood composer James Newton Howard will present a thrilling concert showcasing music from his iconic film scores (The Hunger Games, Prince of Tides, Maleficent and more) performed live to movie clips and a special piano cameo by Frost School of Music Dean Shelly Berg. Filmmaker and longtime collaborator M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, The Village, Lady in the Water) will also join Howard on stage as a special guest. It will all take place in the acoustically superb John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall at the Arsht Center. Tickets are $25, $35, $50, $65 & $100*, available online or through the box office.
