Vizcaya Village ToursVizcaya Museum and Gardens
Classes, Workshops & LecturesIn celebration of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens’ centennial year, the community is invited to discover an unknown part of the Vizcaya estate: Vizcaya Village. The historic Village was part of the original 1916 estate, and consisted of more than a dozen buildings with the intent of making Vizcaya virtually self-sufficient. Today, 100 years later, the plans for the Vizcaya Village aim to reunite the two sides of the Vizcaya property to realize its full potential as a cultural hub for the community. Located across the street from Vizcaya’s main entrance, Vizcaya Village welcomes guests for to explore the space with a free Open House series held once per month from April through July. This includes an afternoon full of guided tours, urban farming, art, music, food trucks, and more. Events take place on the following Sundays: April 9, May 21, and June 11. The July 9th event was canceled due to the hot weather.
