Join us for an intimate guided tour of Promising Paradise: Cuban Allure, American Seduction, followed by a classic Cuba-themed film across the street at the Cinematheque at 6 p.m. Help kick off the series with this 1941 Twentieth Century Fox musical romance focused on two couples: a vivacious entertainer and her womanizing, gambling-addicted manager, and a steamship company executive tasked with making sure a department store salesgirl thoroughly enjoys her vacation in Cuba.
