The ongoing exhibition in this gallery tells the story of over 100 years of a pioneering Miami Beach family whose influence is still prominent throughout the city of Miami. The Whitman family’s accomplishments range from innovations in the fields of marine recreation and horticulture to commercial real estate ventures such as “The Whitman” Art Deco hotel in 1935 and Bal Harbour Shops in 1965.
