Vizcaya Museum and Gardens offers two days to experience Wild Vizcaya – the Nocturna Edition on Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. and the Family Edition on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Friday night get up close and personal with the creepy crawlies and “night owls” that inhabit Miami’s wilderness and learn to use light sheets to inspect bugs, join in for the shadow-puppet show and more! ($6 for kids and $18 for adults) And on Saturday scavenge Vizcaya’s natural habitats, from the rockland hammock to the mangroves, to discover a variety of plants and animals that calls these spaces home. Learn scientific techniques from local experts as you explore. (Free on Saturday with admission)
