Fairchild Garden Hosts Fairchild Challenge

The Fairchild Challenge is Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s award-winning multidisciplinary STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education competition, now in its 12th year. It reaches 130,000 students in South Florida at more than 260 schools from PreK through 12th grade. More than 15 organizations from all over the world were represented at a recent reception for the Fairchild Challenge Partner Summit, which took place at Fairchild Garden in Coral Gables. The reception kicked off the Partner Summit, which brings new and current partners of the Fairchild Challenge together to exchange expertise and learn new approaches to maintain successful programs. The two-day workshop included sessions such as Developing a Global Challenge, Successful Grant Writing, Developing an Exchange Program for Students and The Challenge of the Challenge.
