Fashion’s Night Out 2011 at the Village of Merrick Park

Evening benefited Dress for Success Miami

The Village of Merrick Park hosted its 2nd Official Fashion’s Night Out event. The event took place throughout the center as well as in more than 40 participating retailers.

More than 5,000 guests gathered to enjoy an evening of style, shopping and fun. The event included three Fashion’s Night Out lounges and music by DJ Ess & Emm, as well as light bites and refreshing cocktails.

Select Village of Merrick Park merchants participated in an informal modeling fashion presentation highlighting Fall 2011 trends. Patrons were able to capture their Fashion’s Night Out experience by receiving a complimentary photo booth Capture POD session. The celebration continued on the 2nd level as guests enjoyed scrumptious cotton candy and signature Perrier waters. The evening also featured special in-store Fashion’s Night Out promotions and treats including an appearance by celebrity designer, Silvia Tcherassi at her store; a runway show at Neiman Marcus; cocktails, cupcakes and Champagne at Diane von Furstenberg and complimentary pampering treatments at Elemis Day Spa.

The Village of Merrick Park partnered with Dress for Success Miami in supporting their campaign, “Check your bag at the door.” Guests were invited to donate their gently worn handbags with a check inside to help raise funds for Dress for Success Miami’s women’s program.
