Food, Fashion and Tea Benefits Dress for Success Miami
Wish, the beautiful indoor/outdoor restaurant at The Hotel, hosted fifty VIP guests at the 2nd annual Mad Hatters for Success Tea Party. Sporting their favorite chapeaus, guests enjoyed a delectable afternoon tea menu created by Wish chef Marco Ferraro. The event raised funds for Dress for Success, Miami, an international non-profit organization that promotes economic independence for disadvantaged men and women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools to help them thrive in work and in life. Hosted by Goldman Properties’ Jessica Goldman-Srebnick, the fashionable afternoon began with passed hors d’oeuvres; champagne and wine at Wish Garden, with new decor created by design guru Todd Oldham and Goldman-Srebnick, and continued with a scrumptious luncheon served in the indoor dining room. Chef Ferraro’s menu included tea sandwiches, mini roast beef finger sandwiches and an innovative ham, fontina cheese, roasted red pepper and arugula panini. A sweet touch was provided via a miniature dessert platter which included brownies, key lime pie and assorted miniature fruit tarts.
