Florida Foster Care Review’s 16th Annual Claws for Kids fundraising event raised more than $250,000 on behalf of children and young adults in foster care. Close to 250 people attended the event’s luncheon on November 8th at Joe’s Stone Crab, which was hosted by NBC 6’s Constance Jones and included moving remarks from actor, director and producer Allen J. West, a former foster child turned child advocate. Other Florida Foster Care Review supporters hosted house parties featuring take out from the iconic Miami Beach restaurant.
