More than 600 guests attended the Fourth Annual Masquerade Ball Fundraiser of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation’s Young Leadership Division. Chaired by Maty and Avi Jamal, the evening included entertainment, an open bar and delicious food. YLD Co-Chairs Pearleen Lederman and Joey Katz spoke from the heart about their love for Miami’s Jewish community, while Maty Jamal discussed the importance of giving back and creating a vibrant Jewish future for generations to come. Three members of Jewish Miami — Valeria Gerszuny, Paul and Gerry Reimer and Merchi and Alon Attias shared testimonials about how Federation’s work touched their lives. Another highlight of the evening was the introduction of Jared Firestone, a member of the Israeli Skeleton Olympic Team.
