Gala in the Garden “Paradise Found”

Benefiting Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden

Fairchild’s annual Gala in the Garden was held at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s Lakeside Pavilion. This year’s theme, Paradise Found, was apropos, as guests had the pleasure of enjoying Fairchild’s lush surroundings throughout the Gala event.

Gala in the Garden is South Florida’s most beautiful social event of the year and, as always, a “who’s who” of guests participated in the annual event. The gala welcomed over 400 guests and began with cocktails under the stars on the beautifully illuminated Visitor Center mosaic patio. Guests then proceeded to a large pavilion decorated in beautiful hues of purple and green and overlooking a sparkling Pandanus Lake for dining and dancing to the spectacular live music of Soul Survivors.

Lasso the Moon catered the event and created the innovative décor. Guests enjoyed a wonderful evening at Fairchild while supporting the vital conservation work of Fairchild. The Gala is Fairchild’s largest fundraiser and directly supports the garden’s mission in science education, conservation science and horticultural sciences.
