Gallery Night Sponsors “Celebrate Miami“

As part of the festivities associated with the City of Miami Anniversary celebration, Stella M. Holmes, founder of The Brickellian Inc. and Brickell Gallery Night, hosted a gallery-style event featuring a series of photographs that captured the spirit of the city.

Holmes, who personally selected Brazilian photographer Mariza Formaggini for the exhibit Celebrate Miami, said, “the architectural images exposed the varied cultures of the city as well as the vibrant personality which is Miami.” From Brickell’s visionary architecture to the energy and diversity of Miami, Formaggini’s photographs were well received by guests attending the event, who included Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado.

Social Breakfast

SocialMiami went on the road again for another Social Breakfast, this one graciously hosted by JW Marriott located in Miami’s financial district on Brickell Avenue.

Michele Sadkin and I invited an eclectic group to join us as we pursued our summertime challenge to learn more about what’s going on in Miami.

Breakfast was a lavish affair, consisting of fresh fruit with honey and yogurt; a vegetable omelet with asparagus, red and yellow peppers, spinach, Brie cheese, fingerling potatoes and roasted tomatoes; and Mascarpone cheese-stuffed French toast with warm fruit compote.

Nightlife Chic: Episode 2

Summertime in Miami is hot, as is the fashion poolside at W South Beach on a Thursday night.

In this Episode, Nightlife Chic host Sarah Arison speaks to an Italian swimwear designer who calls Miami “the most European city in all of America”, and a Miami local who combines sexy and conservative in a way that only works in the Magic City.
