Good Things Come In “Big” Packages
Proving once again that good things come in “big” packages, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami celebrated 51 years of service to the community with The Big Event, one of the biggest bashes of the annual social calendar. Over 600 guests put on their dancing shoes to rock the house at the beautiful newly renovated Fontainebleau Miami Beach, a superb addition to South Florida’s gala scene. Jeanie Hernandez, Tim Brown, Bonnie Crabtree, Joy Spillis Lundeen and Frank Weber served as co-chairs. Micky and Madeliene Arison served as honorary event chairmen. Carnival Cruise Lines was the Title sponsor again and Presenting Sponsors included Bacardi, Miami Heat, Carnival Cruise Lines, Comcast, Crispin Porter+Bogusky, Baptist Health South Florida, IBM, Korn/Ferry International, and others too numerous to name. Sportscaster Jimmy Cefalo was the emcee for the evening.
