Art Miami

The city’s longest running contemporary and modern art fair is recognized as one of the preeminent international art fairs globally. Distinguished for its quality, depth, and diversity, the fair features investment quality paintings, drawings, design, sculpture, NFTs, video art, photography and prints from more than 155 leading galleries across 17 countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America, India, the Middle East and the United States. Thousands of works from more than 600 artists on display, providing established and budding collectors the opportunity to acquire a vast array of iconic works from renowned modern masters and blue-chip contemporary works, as well as the most sought- after living artists.

 

CONTEXT Art Miami

The week’s most celebrated fair continues to create and push boundaries on the conversation about contemporary art. The 2022 edition will showcase works from 75 innovative galleries from more than 20 countries, including Japan, Turkey, Australia, France, South Korea and Chile, among others. This year, Art Miami and its sister fairs are showcasing works to raise awareness and funds for the crisis abroad. At Art Miami, Chase Contemporary will release a limited edition signed & numbered print by 11 year old art prodigy Andres Valencia with 100 percent of the funds going to the Klitchko Foundation providing humanitarian support to Ukrainians.

Aqua Art Miami

Miami Beach’s favorite boutique fair presents a diverse roster of 41 international galleries showcasing young, emerging and mid-career artists. Aqua is known for presenting vibrant and noteworthy international art programs with a particular interest in supporting young and established galleries with strong emerging and mid-career artists. This year, Aqua Art Miami will be collaborating with Black & White Project Space, a non-profit art organization run by Ukrainian National Tatyana Okshteyn to provide a space in the courtyard of the Aqua Hotel in support of “Buy An Icon, Save A Life In Ukraine,” a conceptual project by Ukrainian artists Sonia Atlantova and Olexander Klimenko.

Evolve by Paul Nicklen and Cristina Mittermeier

Comprised of over 30 large scale works, Evolve emphasizes the importance of wildlife conservation and sustainability, while showcasing art’s innate ability to drive conversation and motivate change.

Red Dot Miami

Spectrum Miami is a curated art fair presenting 150+ independent career artists, studios, and younger galleries that are pushing the boundaries in surprising and significant ways. Red Dot is a gallery-only contemporary art fair featuring a provocative agenda that includes site-specific instillations and ongoing collaborations.

Future Transmutation by Pilar Zeta

Art goers to witness a celebration of freedom and feminine power through revered artist commissioned works on view. The interactive sculptural garden installation as well as a creative intervention celebrates freedom and self-discovery.

Art Basel Miami Beach

The Premere art show of the Americas to feature leading galleries from five continents showing significant works by masters of Modern and contemporary art, as well as the new generation of emerging stars. The meridians is a platform for large scale projects pushing the boundaries of the traditional art fair. The Nova sector presents works created within the last three years by one, two and three artists.

“Into the Wild (Future)” at Sagamore South Beach

Historic art deco hotel known for its year-round art programming and museum-quality exhibitions presents a series of interactive activations and events with the theme “Into the Wild (Future).”  The five-day Art Week takeover featuring hotel-wide displays, immersive audiovisual experiences, and mural artists such as Sebastien “Mr. D 1987” Boileau. In addition, in a partnership with the elite auction house Phillips, the lobby and gallery room will display an exhibition called “Streams of Consciousness.”

Aerobanquets RMX Mixed Reality Art and Culinary Experience at Superblue Miami

Miami Street Photography Festival Opening Reception and Master Talk

Featuring the best in street photography for ten years, Miami Street Photography Festival at HistoryMiami Museum hosts a reception and master talk by Ukranian board renowned photographer Dina Litovsky. Exhibitions include the International Photo Contest finalists, an outdoor exhibition of from the finalists of the Miami Photo Series , and Capture: A Portrait of the Pandemic.

Museum of Graffiti hosts Mattel Creations’ “Stack the Deck” UNO Event

Watch the creation of larger-than-life UNO cards that will be transformed into a playable deck. Later, beginning 1 p.m. there are releases and signings from hot graffiti artists – today it’s CEY ADAMS’ Hot Wheels 1970s LOVE van.

An immersive utopian space, providing an intimate insight into the momentary state of the human mind in 2022. The ever-changing audiovisual art installation consisting of 120 diverse voices from around the world talking about faith, rituals, and the future and creating a positive manifest for a livable future.

You Know Who You Are, Recent Acquisitions of Cuban Art from the Jorge M. Pérez Collection

Features works by over 100 Cuban and Cuban-diaspora artists exploring the island’s place in collective memory and questions its history, deconstructs hierarchies, and reflecting on notions of representation, race, gender, and human rights.

Craig Robins Collection: Two of the Same Kind

Highlights of the work by Marlene Dumas and Jana Euler, two artists whose painting and drawing practices are broadly represented in the Collection holdings. The theme of dualism threads through two portraits by pop icon Andy Warhol. Also featured are design pieces by the recently acquired Sasha Gordon and by established favorites such as Zaha Hadid, Jean Prouvé, Marc Newson and Maarten Baas.

Generating a platforms for CryptoArtists during Miami Art Week, the experience includes music, art, and tech plus programming featuring a curated selection of immersive art experiences and performances from world-leading DJs. 

INVITATION ONLY: Instillation Unveiling: Rosanna Kalis
5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Shelborne South Beach,
Activation for contemporary Korean artist in the hotel’s Oasis Garden, currently the location of the 2 Korean Girls pop-up restaurant. The semipermanent and temporary art installations transforms the space with new murals, Korean folding screens, digital screens showcasing art and K-pop music videos, and a custom sneaker installation sponsored by HiteJinro. Kalis will be painting a large-scale piece with a digital projection adding color and movement alongside performances by IPhlow, a Miami-based breakdance crew, and Jun-ILL, a Korean DJ based in Miami and New York.

The House of Infinite Potential

An exhibit spanning across 9 different rooms featuring abstract, immersive attractions including a maze, sculpture courtyard, a circus tent with performance artists, two installations created by innovative theater companies, and seven artist-curated installations with live actors, the effort is to celebrate the human experience. Expect live music, spoken word & poetry, and physical touch with different elements such as water, fire, sand, and fragrant flowers to amplify every attendee’s connection to reality.

The week’s most celebrated fair continues to create and push boundaries on the conversation about contemporary art. The 2022 edition will showcase works from 75 innovative galleries from more than 20 countries, including Japan, Turkey, Australia, France, South Korea and Chile, among others. This year, Art Miami and its sister fairs are showcasing works to raise awareness and funds for the crisis abroad. At Art Miami, Chase Contemporary will release a limited edition signed & numbered print by 11 year old art prodigy Andres Valencia with 100 percent of the funds going to the Klitchko Foundation providing humanitarian support to Ukrainians.

Aqua Art Miami

Miami Beach’s favorite boutique fair presents a diverse roster of 41 international galleries showcasing young, emerging and mid-career artists. Aqua is known for presenting vibrant and noteworthy international art programs with a particular interest in supporting young and established galleries with strong emerging and mid-career artists. This year, Aqua Art Miami will be collaborating with Black & White Project Space, a non-profit art organization run by Ukrainian National Tatyana Okshteyn to provide a space in the courtyard of the Aqua Hotel in support of “Buy An Icon, Save A Life In Ukraine,” a conceptual project by Ukrainian artists Sonia Atlantova and Olexander Klimenko.
