Carnival Freedom
Two great events – Camillus House’s Hope for All Ball and United Way’s 10th Annual Mayor’s Ball – are being held on the same night aboard Carnival Cruise Lines’ newest ship, Carnival Freedom. Themed “Guayaberas and Good Times,” the overnight benefit promises nonstop action in the casino, on the dance floor, in the dining rooms, and in the ship’s bars and lounges.
This luxurious “trip to nowhere” is the perfect opportunity for entertaining important clients, rewarding special employees, treating friends and family to a fun getaway, or for holding your office holiday celebration. This year’s event is being hosted by Carnival’s Bob Dickinson and his wife Jodi, along with Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Alvarez. Bunny Bastian and Tere Blanca are the event co-chairs. Honorary chairs this year are Swanee and Paul DiMare and Brenda Nestor and Robert Castellano.

About United Way
United Way brings us together as a community to focus on the human care issues that matter most. It is a powerful partnership that improves people’s lives and strengthens our community. What results is an impact far greater than any one person or one agency can deliver.
United Way of Miami-Dade has a plan to achieve measurable outcomes in four areas. The community plan, set forth by our volunteers and other community experts, is focused on helping kids and families lead successful lives, improving health and independence, responding to emergency and basic needs and encouraging neighborhood and civic involvement.
By strategically investing in quality programs, building partnerships, advocating for better policies, engaging people in their community and leveraging resources, United Way is achieving community impact 365 days a year. United Way is focused on bottom-line results, because after all, we know that’s what matters to you. To learn more about United Way Miami-Dade, visit www.unitedwaymiami.org.
