Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami will host its annual fundraising event, Ignite Miami Gala, themed to highlight how the organization is “heating things up” through its various mentoring programs that ignite the potential of the city and its youth.

Miami’s corporate and philanthropic elite will enjoy a night of philanthropy, fun and friends, including an auction and gourmet cuisine, while celebrating the Defenders who are changing the lives of kids in Miami. The event will begin with a cocktail party at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 8 p.m.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami is the premier youth mentoring organization, distinguished for its proven success transforming lives and creating a better community for all.

Together with presenting sponsors Carnival Foundation and Carnival Corporation, Big Brothers Big Sisters will host 800 of Miami’s top corporate and philanthropic luminaries at the black-tie gala to celebrate the amazing, transformational success stories of their BIG’s (mentors) and LITTLE’s (children).

The annual gala has been a vital part of the organization’s fundraising mission to connect thousands of at-risk children with caring and committed mentors. Every year, the waiting list for mentors continues to grow, and they rely on the generosity of donors and partners to expand their ability to reach those in need in our community.

Individual gala tickets are $1,000. And a variety of underwriting opportunities are also available, starting at $10,000.
