Italy Meets Miami at C’Art
First International Store Opening Soon!
C’Art (pronounced kart), a traditional high end stationery and gift store with 70 locations in Italy, has chosen Miami as its first U.S. store to open at the newly unveiled Brickell City Center.
“Miami was a natural choice for us” says Roberto Ghiringhelli. “The city has become a major cosmopolitan city, and when we heard about Brickell City Center, in the heart of Brickell with its many international businesses and residents, we decided to move forward with our expansion.”
The store, whose motto is “affordable luxury,” will have the flair of a classic Italian shop. Interior décor will convey an atmosphere of warmth and understated elegance thanks to a combination of carefully chosen elements, like wood and glass.
C’Art will offer the discerning upscale clientele of Miami an ample and original assortment of high end stationery, small leather goods, men’s and women’s business bags and unique gifts from the most established Italian companies in this sector, some dating back to the 1800s. Items like Montegrappa pens, Fedon, Moleskine, and Pijama,
the brainchild of fashion Designer Monica Battestella and architect Sergio Gobbi, created when they realized the abandoned stacks of fabric in the heart of Milano’s fashion district could be given a new life. Today, the Pijama collection is found in colorful, soft cases for computers, I Pads, I Pods as well as a wide range of products including backpacks and bags. The brand’s own collection, Nava, includes stationery, watches and many other products which are also sold in museum shops and design foundations.
The common denominators among all the brands are: craftsmanship, quality, style, authenticity and all absolutely and proudly Made in Italy.
