About the Jackson Memorial Foundation
The Jackson Memorial Foundation (JMF) is the principal source of fundraising for Jackson Health System (JHS), seeking private philanthropic funds to improve the system’s facilities and supports its priority projects. Some of the projects funded by the Foundation include: the Ryder Trauma Center; the Holtz Children’s Hospital; the Taylor Breast Health Center; the Batchelor Urology Diagnostic and Treatment Center; as well as innumerable purchases of equipment, services and renovations throughout the hospital. The Foundation is further supported through The Golden Angels, a donor recognition group, comprised of people who have made a minimum contribution of $50,000 to the Foundation. In addition there are a number of auxiliary groups with specific missions such as the Guardian Angels, the International Kids Fund and the Jackson Cancer Care.
