Jody’s Couture for the Cancer Cure
Proceeds go to Women’s Cancer Research Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center
Jody Katz was 52 years old when she lost her life to cancer in 2009. Jody dedicated 35 years of her life to fashion and design as owner of the successful boutique, Pygmalion in Hollywood. She also was a designer through her own label, Too SheShe. Jody’s Couture for the Cancer Cure honors her love of the fashion industry and her wish to utilize her passion for fashion as a way to raise awareness and funds for women’s cancer research.
Jody’s Couture for the Cancer Cure, a co-charity with the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center will host their first fashion fundraising sale at the Miami Beach Convention Center, Hall C on Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 10am to 7pm. The sale will feature thousands of donated new-with-tags and like-new women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, shoes, and accessories from top designers and the most coveted closets across South Florida. The event will also feature a “back room” with the most desired couture items.
