M’Angaje Makes its World Premiere at the Arsht Center
As part of its 10th Anniversary Celebration, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County presented the world premiere of M’Angaje, a new piece created and performed by Haiti’s premier dance troupe Ayikodans. The piece was inspired by the Center’s ongoing alliance with the company which originated when they found a home at the Arsht Center following the devastating 2010 earthquake. On the night of the premiere, Ayikodans’ community of supporters in Miami gathered to toast to the magnificent new work on the steps of the Arsht Center’s plaza.
