Manny Hernandez Shoots Art Basel
Art Basel is back and so is Manny Hernandez with a schedule that is second to none. He’s making the rounds to some of the most exclusive affairs, documenting the action one heavy hitter at a time. Manny, at his latest engagement, photographed a private dinner at Solea hosted by Peter Brant, Alberto Mugrabi, and Aby Rosen followed by an after party at WALL hosted by Alex Dellal, Starvos Niarchos, and Vito Schnabel.
MOCA-Vanity Fair Art Basel Kick Off
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) and Vanity Fair International partnered once again to kick off Art Basel | Miami Beach, as well as to celebrate the opening of “The Reach of Realism,” an exhibition of international artists who explore the artistic traditions of realism in an age of digital manipulation and fabricated reality. As always, the party brought together a fantastic mix of artists, collectors and fans of contemporary art in a festive atmosphere.
ArtNexus at W South Beach
ArtNexus magazine brought its annual Art Basel party to The W Hotel for a fabulous poolside affair that followed Art Basel’s vernissage. Guests enjoyed cocktails from Grey Goose vodka, light dining and dancing on a splendid early December evening. The W’s famed Entourage Bungalow became the ArtNexus Bungalow for this one night only. The four-story beachfront bungalow served as a VIP area for party guests.
Tastemakers Showcase at Ornare
With the eyes of the international design community looking at Miami’s Design District during the week of Art Basel Miami Beach and Design Miami, Ornare, the Brazilian premiere luxury wardrobe and kitchen manufacturer, displayed projects of 20 distinguished architects and designers. They kicked off the exhibition with their third annual “Tastemakers Showcase.” The presentation featured each participant’s work on large display panels that will be distributed throughout the Ornare showroom.
